He shot through the sold-out venues of the Republic like a comedy firestorm, with always the next gag and the diaphragm of his fans in sight; he has always been wild and creative. With his latest programme 'Wild Creaturks', Bülent Ceylan lives up to his name and presents his creatures in open season, in absolute freedom, shy or, at times, wild and romantic.
Anneliese, similar to the half-yeti Günther, is an outstanding example of the species 'hairy animal' , will go stalking again, as will Harald, who is especially well-versed in the urban wilderness and where he particularly enjoys stopping at feeding places and watering holes. Hasan, who considers himself as big-game, even though this only refers to his mouth, would daily enjoy offering himself up to be shot down in his own personal battue. Greengrocer Aslan, who, of course, has everything man or animal needs in life and offers it with creative psychology as well as profit to whichever wild stranger comes along, is equally representative of Ceylan's biodiversity as is the permanently wired Mompfeed Bockenauer, who is the only one who belongs to neither game birds, deer or predators, but to a rather peculiar species, the hopping mad.
Highly global and beastly good topics as well as the wildly creative way of presentation promise, as they do in every new season, extremely exotic aspects, barely domesticated opinions and any number of blockbusters in the ragout of gags which Bülent Ceylan and his ungovernable herd serve up. As Anneliese's husband rightly says: "Nothing beats one's own herd".
